The Nebraska Alumni Association was proud to honor nine accomplished alumni, four outstanding students and an exceptional family at the 2010 Alumni Awards Banquet: An All-University Celebration! Nearly 200 alumni and friends gathered at the Champions Club for the event May 7, which also featured UNL Chancellor Harvey Perlman, Nebraska Alumni Association executive director Diane Mendenhall and emcee John Baylor. Now accepting 2011 nominations!
The alumni association is now accepting alumni and student nominations for the 2011 awards. Because of the increased interest and excitement surrounding this program, the nomination deadline has been moved up to Nov. 1, 2010. (The banquet will again be held in May, though an exact date has not yet been determined.) Descriptions of the alumni and student awards, as well as the nomination form, are available online.
