As Director for Venues, Carrie Myers manages the operations of the Nebraska Champions Club and the Wick Alumni Center. She is responsible for marketing the facilities, managing bookings and planning special events. Myers also oversees Nebraska Champions Club game day activities.
Myers joined the Nebraska Alumni Association staff in 2010 as director of special events. Previously, she spent two years as Events and Promotions Coordinator at Union Bank & Trust, where she was responsible for coordinating large customer events and organizing the employee community involvement program. In addition, Myers spent five years with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Office of Admissions as an admissions counselor and assistant director of honors recruitment, recruiting high school seniors and planning on-campus events for high-ability students. A native of Lincoln, Neb., Myers is seeking her master of arts degree through the journalism college's MCA Program. As an undergraduate, she interned for the Nebraska Alumni Association, Omaha World-Herald and the Nebraska Athletic Marketing department.
